NHRI is dedicated to training and certifying residential energy professionals who can conduct:

An energy audit on an existing residential structure;

An energy code inspection for new construction;

In partnership with Congruent produce an Energy rating Index and/or an Energy Star Rating

 

Over the last 12 years NHRI (under the name Bullseye Building Consultants) has trained and certified over 300 residential energy raters.

 

NHRI's COO and lead instructor is Bob Spermo. Bob was a RESNET HERS Rater, Rater Trainer, Training Provider, Rating Provider and Quality Assurance Designee for over 14 years. Bob is a Texas licensed home inspector and a Texas licensed HVAC contractor.

He flew jet fighters for over 32 years accumulating over 5000 hours flying the F-105, F-4 and F-16. 

 

Bob's approach to training is simple - NHRI produces a high quality online course AND provides the student access to an instructor where your question will be answered the same day if requested before 5pm CST!
